A Critical Moment for Cuban Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship has become an increasingly important source of economic opportunity in Cuba. Across the island, entrepreneurs, producers, artists, skilled professionals, and community initiatives are creating livelihoods, preserving knowledge, serving local needs, and strengthening their communities.

Yet many promising projects face significant barriers to accessing equipment, materials, technology, practical training, mentorship, and professional networks.

Island Impact Fund works to identify these needs, evaluate promising projects, and mobilize practical resources and expertise as funding and partnerships become available.
